Smooth Sailing with Fred. OlsenFred. Olsen Cruise Lines | Braemar

Having never sailed with Fred Olsen before I was a little apprehensive for a few reasons. I was concerned that there may not be much to keep the kids entertained & that the passengers may also have been a bit put out by having kids onboard. I also thought that the shows would be quite low key and perhaps tailored towards the generation that Freds draws in.

My impressions did a total 360 degree fli…

Top marks MSCMSC Cruises | MSC Preziosa

We went on MSC Prezoiza not being quite sure what to expect, having been on P&O, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity cruises.

The only reason we chose MSC, it suited our travel dates, we had read many mixed reviews and thought only way to find out, was to try ourselves. We chose the wellness experience, as the yacht club was full.

We are so glad we DID, the ship is awesome, spotlessly clean, not a fing…

Brilliant time on board OceanaP&O Cruises | Oceana

Really enjoyable week on board Oceana our housekeeper Joma was a super star, we had a problem with a noisy fan which she got sorted asap. The Headliners and visiting entertaintment was first class, all the staff including the crazy captain made this a fantastic week, the only thing I would have a little niggle about is the cabin balcony could do with a lick of paint.

Had a fantastic cruise on Balmoral in August round the British Isles, loved the ship and everything about it. The weather is perfect to say it was a British cruise, had some sun to enjoy the lovely deck space on Balmoral. Giants Causeway is a must for anyone docking at Belfast.

23 days on AdoniaP&O Cruises | Adonia

Our first time on this ship and first impressions were very favourable. We had heard her described as being like a country house hotel and that was very apt. The library in particular was very impressive with a large selection of new books in a very spacious comfortable setting, no playing second fiddle to computers here! The crew were all friendly and helpful and you soon got to know them as well…

Azura cabin reviewP&O Cruises | Azura

Our whole cruise was spoilt by our toilet not functioning properly for the entire cruise! Our poor cabin steward & us reported it DAILY!!

A plumber visited twice, saying it would be a long repair but didn’t fix it!!!

We used public toilets more than ours in the cabin. We feel that if it was a toilet in a public area it would have been fixed immediately!

We feel sorry for the people joining Azura t…

Our time on board the AdoniaP&O Cruises | Adonia

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on the Adonia. As it’s a small ship, everything seemed to be two decks up or two decks down! We always managed to get a seat in The Conservatory, The Curzon and no problem getting a sunbed. There were no queues to get off and on the ship, everything was laid back, it made a pleasant change from being on a ship with thousands of people. The plays were an added bonus…

Adults only cruise on AdoniaP&O Cruises | Adonia

As Adonia is the same size as the small Princess ships I knew what to expect. Being a British ship there was no casino and in the Andersons lounge there was always an easy chair to sit on. This is the second time in just over a year that I have sailed around the Greek islands on the Royal Princess and have also been to the Baltics on her sister ship, the Regal Princess.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around Greece on board Oceana. A couple of things which let the holiday down were, firstly the travel cot. This was filthy, torn and really not fit for use. Children are not free so I expect something half decent for them to sleep in.

The Adonia was in the poorest condition of any ship we have been on. There were many faults and breakdowns . The food was truly awful and some items ran out , as did many of the wines before the end of the cruise. It had been hastily repainted as the many splashes of paint proved. The balcony screen fixings were broken and had been w wedged with wood. The balcony door was broken but to be fair was …

Nice cruise, good itinerary, although a little too much time at sea then 5 port days in a row. Not helped by a heat wave in southern Europe so temperatures a bit higher than normal. Britannia from a wheelchair user's point of viewP&O Cruises | Britannia

A week on Britannia to the Norwegian Fjords was a spectacular trip.
Stunning snowy views, fantastic sunny weather, our second cruise there the first week of May, unbelievable.
My husband pushed me easily around the ship from our accessible cabin. We were next to the forward lifts, which has a staircase for able bodied users which does lessen lift use, as does the rear of the ship.

Excellent Cruise, One Of The Best We've HadP&O Cruises | Ventura

The ship was one of the biggest we’ve been on, however it was a friendly ship. Entertainment was excellent, with the strictly dance team and the dresses used in the strictly dance TV series. Organisation was good at the start and end of the cruise, the compulsory life jacket talk was too dictatorial. Freedom dining was a lottery, if everyone has it, and it appeared on this cruise they did, then it becomes just that, a lottery.

If you want a fun cruise take Princess around Japan, the Diamond Princess must have been 60% Japanese passengers, polite joined in every thing and good fun.
Activities in every corner Cruise Director and his Japanese side kick were great and never in your face like most Cruise Directors.
Best ship we have ever been on
We did our own travel to Tokyo that keeps the class of travel up and the price d…

Our recent cruisePrincess Cruises | Pacific Princess

Despite being very good in personnel based service, the enjoyment of our cruise was somewhat marred by an obvious desire by the company to make the most of onboard sales. Excursions were too expensive for us to use, wine quality was poor compared to other cruise lines and the cost far higher than expected- even water was $5 per bottle. Taking bottles on board was strictly forbidden. We have travel…

Fantastic cruise ship, butRegent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Explorer

This was our first cruise with Regent and we were impressed with the ship, the staff, the cabin and the food. It was clearly the best cruise line we have been on but at ?œ1,000 per day for a Concierge Suite it should be. The pre cruise overnight stop in Venice was not particularly well organised, partly due to us not being kept informed by the Italian staff and the hotel room was clearly the chea…

The most luxurious cruise ship. Ever builtRegent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Explorer

This ship lives up to its reputation. It entered service earlier this year . The only fault we could find was in the signage for it’s main restaurant Compass Rose which was described as being in the aft part of the ship but omitted to say that access could only be gained from the forward lifts and stairways.
We really could not find any other fault with this ship. The service was flawless in every…

Emerald Princess - Our First Ever Cruise......Princess Cruises | Emerald Princess

The September cruise to the Canaries from Southampton was our first ever cruise and in addition, this was the first time we had ever gone away with friends. Although we thoroughly researched and considered this significant change of holiday style, naturally we just did not know exactly what we were about to experience.

In a nut shell….. It was an absolutely fantastic experience on all counts. Alt…

Oriana 7night bay of bid cay cruiseP&O Cruises | Oriana

Cruise experience was ok but once again serious outbreak of nurovirus for nearly half the cruise, which took away some of the enjoyment, in saying this it was dealt with in a very professional manner ( suppose by now they really know how to handle this). We did notice how the dress code has dropped dramatically. Felt overdressed in smart casual. My wife being vegetarian had same problem as always,…

Lovely cruise perfect weather but Azura is not good if you like dancing the floor is too small in the atrium ,in spite of that we had two very good dance instructors who went out of their way to make the evenings really enjoyable and put on excellent demonstrations . We didn’t need two days in Barcelona and could have had longer in Gibraltar.Overall a very good smooth trip

Overall the 1st cruise for us was fantastic.. Good points were ….. The ship was immaculate…. The service was impeccable…. The food was excellent. Cabin superb. The staff on board were brilliant.

Fantastic norway cruise on BalmoralFred. Olsen Cruise Lines | Balmoral

the parking and check in at Newcastle port was very efficient. We were directed to the carpark at the port, the porters took our luggage and we then walked the short distance to the terminal building. The check in was very well organised. priority check in was offered for decks 8,9 and 10 with self-service check in offered for all other passengers. We had booked a premier suite. The cabin was v…

Not enough staff , especially on the decks during the day. Some members of staff not very helpful , when cabin not cleaned one day a complaint was a waste of time, the room was left until the steward attended that evening. Exorbitant prices for drink on board ship, never been into a restuerant on an evening with the majority of people drinking wine. Alcohol purchased at port visits taken from you …

We ( two 69 year olds ) did a 13 night cruise from Southampton in Sept 2016
The ship is very big with lots to explore. We had a balcony stateroom 8602 on deck 8. The stateroom was very spacious, lots of storage and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony.
The dining was excellent both in the dining room and self service restaurant.
The staff were excellent, especially Maureen our state room attendant, a…

The almost all inclusive aspect of the cruise was excellent.

Previous cruises have always been taken with P & O who in the past have been excellent but regrettably, due to cutbacks, are sliding backwards, thus a change to Cunard, who whilst claiming to be a premier brand do not, unfortunately live up to their past reputation . Having just returned from a 15 day cruise to the Canaries, and our first cruise with Cunard, it get all 5 stars from us, everything about the cruise was wonderful, the food, service, staff, entertainment, general feel was relaxed and comfortable.

Britannia ItineraryP&O Cruises | Britannia

Just got back from a short trip on Britannia.

Couldn’t really fault the ship, the staff or the food.

Guernsey was meant to be the last port of call before returning home, but once again we couldn’t go ashore (by tender) because the sea was too rough. I understand all about safety considerations and I know the captain made the right decision BUT apparently this is a fairly regular occurrence – a co…

Thank youPrincess Cruises | Emerald Princess

I would like to thank Bolsover for the lovely gift of a bottle of champagne. It gave us the perfect start to our holiday. My first impression of Emerald Princess was that it lacked the elegance of Queen Victoria or Queen Elizabeth. This feeling was confirmed throughout the holiday, for example plastic plates in The Horizon Court. My husband also missed having a sommelier in the main restaurant…

My family and l have just returned from a mini cruise on the Britannia to Bruges . Britannia & tender ports don't mixP&O Cruises | Britannia

Just returned from an 8 cruise on Britannia to La Rochelle, Lisbon, Vigo & Guernsey. Overall a lovely cruise, weather conditions excellent through the Bay of Biscay, but at Guernsey, being a tender port, the wavy sea prevented disembarkation.
This is the 2nd time that we have been unable to visit a tender port whilst on Britannia (first Monte Carlo in 2015), so I would be wary of booking Britannia…
