what is the question?-P&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews

Not successful due to both of us suffering for the last 10 days of the 14 days on board from bronchitis probably through the ships air-conditioning.
I (Peter) suffered from diarrhoea for last 8 days of the 14 days on board. Included 1 day confined to the cabin. (Ship’s rules. No objection to the rules). The food was too rich for my normal diet. Shore excursion cost refunded without trouble. The sh…

Persian GulfP&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews

This was our second time cruising on Oceana. Once again totally delighted with the experience. However, we felt our balcony cabin was looking ‘tired’ but was kept alive by our hard working and cheerful Cabin Steward. Overall, the commitment to customer service was of a high standard as was the food. Would I cruise to this part of the world again, probably not as having experienced it once there wa…

Winter sun in the beautiful CaribbeanP&O Cruises | Azura Reviews

We love our holiday in February for some winter sunshine and love the climate in the Caribbean. We have been on Azura twice before and love it. However, it’s due a refurbishment which I believe is happening this year. We enjoyed our trip this year as usual. The entertainment on the first week wasn’t the best we’d seen in terms of choice, but that was due in some way to the medical emergency which …

A Good CruiseP&O Cruises | Azura Reviews

This was a good cruise despite several unfortunate problems. My wife was taken ill with her asthma problem which meant we had to visit the medical centre. The medical staff were EXCELLENT in dealing with her problem and getting her back on track very quickly. We also had a serious medical condition with another passenger who had to be airlifted by helicopter from the ship, this threw our itinerary…

Aurora on ice, stirred not shakenP&O Cruises | Aurora Reviews

We did the “Northern Lights ” cruise at the tail end of February and the Nordic gods were with us. On the whole the weather was generally good; at sea the sky was blue and clear, whilst in the northern ports it snowed heavily which added to the ambiance. Coming home the fair weather stayed with us until Stavanger, but by then it was all over bar the shouting.

“Aurora” treated us some magnificent s…

A beautiful shipRegent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Explorer Reviews

Explorer is undoubtedly a ship with a “wow factor”. It is like checking in too a luxury hotel with beautiful surroundings and ultra luxurious fittings. The ship is remarkably stable and there is virtually no engine vibration. The crew are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We shall cruise again on this wonderful ship.

A holiday with a differenceP&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews

Ten days not long enough when you consider the flight time but a glimpse of a different culture including glitzy Dubai, boring Barhain and ‘Oh so lovely’ Oman. Take long loose trousers and wrist length blouses so as not to offend.

Lovely shipP&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews

Lovely ship, the balconies are small unable to both sit out unless you put your feet up on the edge, really enjoyed Dubai could stay there longer but the rest of the ports not a lot to do, we did excursions at every port the best one was the safari desert BBQ under the stars well worth the money. On the sea day and most afternoons unable to get a sunbed as towels were on them but no people 😕 st…

GOOD VISIT TO MIDDLE EASTP&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews

Superb cruise to CubaAzamara Club Cruises | Azamara Journey Reviews

This was our 4th cruise with Azamara and we were not disappointed. We like the smaller ship with just 670 guests on board and we were always able to dock very close to each city centre with no need for the use of tenders to get ashore. As always the service was excellent with staff remembering our personal likes and dislikes. The entertainment is on a smaller scale but very good with an Azamazing …

Creaky but ClassicHolland America Line | MS Noordam Reviews

Noordam is a beautiful classic ship, the friendliness and service from the crew was 1st class. Not sure it is cut out for the rough seas of Tasmania, it was very creaky and noisy during any type of swell. So, a little tired and yet cosy on the interior.

More ticks off my bucket list-P&O Cruises | Aurora Reviews

This was our second time with Aurora and our fifth with P&O and generally the boat had changed very little. As always the staff are the star of the show. The ship experienced problems in Tenerife which dogged us throughout the cruise so that we arrived late at some ports and one destination was missed out entirely. The Carnival ports were just an excuse for us to spend more money with them – not i…

Amazon - great cruiseP&O Cruises | Aurora Reviews

My first cruise on Aurora and amazed, speaking to numerous people, how so many always cruised on this ship. Soon found out why …… food and service was brilliant and, after many cruises, consider the dining experience to be one of the best. The waiters at dinner (fixed dining) were excellent and couldn’t do enough for our table. A minor hiccup over information given for one of our ports of call, …

Azura Caribbean back to back cruise January 25-February 22 2019.P&O Cruises | Azura Reviews

As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed myself on Azura. The ports of call were very interesting and I was thrilled to take the excursion to Bequia from St. Vincent, last visited in 1995 and found it unchanged, a real Caribbean port, no jet skis, no loud intrusive music, and I took the excursion again and enjoyed the beach lunch thoroughly and plenty of rum punches and 3 swimming/snorkelling stops. Food ab…

2 weeks of heavenP&O Cruises | Azura Reviews

Well what a fantastic time we have just had aboard Azura. The food was again amazing staff extremely friendly and entertainment was very good especially Justine who was Tina Turner .
The towel police could do with giving people 1 hour and not 30 min as I did have to rush my lunch most days but that was the only complaint.

San Francsico to Sydney-P&O Cruises | Arcadia Reviews

Impressed with Honolou and Fiji however, Noumea was disappointing but hid storm conditions soon after which meant we didn’t enter 2 of our ports, Pago Pago & Port Vila. We docked in Newcastle which was not on our itinerary, a real bonus a lovely port. The cruise was also hampered by ill health and unfortunately deaths. The captain and his crew were remarkable to avoid the worst of the cyclone and …

Winter sun in the CaribbeanP&O Cruises | Azura Reviews

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Azura so much so, that whilst on board we have booked to go back again next year. The ship was very clean the staff was happy and friendly. The destinations were good, although we did give St Vincent the thumbs down. The town needs a boost and we did not feel safe so went back to the ship and took advantage of the sunbathing and the film on the sea screen.

Planning a holiday is always charged with anticipation and expectation…especially when it’s your first time cruising.

Dubai to Hong Kong-Cunard Line | Queen Mary 2 Reviews

A splendid cruise, only marred by the utter shambles at embarkation. Cunard must share the blame for that with the Dubai authorities. Our first time on Queen Mary 2, we found a ship which sailed really well and had acres of space on board for passengers. The deck layout was a little confusing to begin with, the “half decks” taking a little understanding but over three weeks we had plenty of time t…

Very enjoyable but wouldn’t go back-P&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews

Dubai & Emirates on Oceana – firstly we have to say the Oceana was excellent in all areas – though can’t comment on entertainment as we never really go to any shows- however whilst the various destinations were all interesting & in some cases spectacular we prefer cruises that allow us to explore on our own & this was not possible mainly because of cruise terminal locations.

The one real blot on t…

Asia cruise-Holland America Line | MS Westerdam Reviews

The ship was cold in all public area. Cabin staff exceptionally good. Breakfast food in the restaurant was abysmal but the good in the Lido was fine. The shows were very poor with a rock violinist on 2 nights, conjourer on 2 nights and the musical shows were terrible with the female singers “screeching”. The cost of tours exorbitant and poor value. Everything including the buffet drinks station cl…

Cape Town to Melbourne Jan 2019Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

I like Cunard, we have sailed on all three Queens. We sailed on the QE last summer to the Baltic and by coincidence, this cruise was on the same ship, we chose the route rather than the ship on this occasion. Having said that QE is a lovely ship, very comfortable. My wife and I are in our early 60’s and in my view are still a little young for many aspects of Cunard cruises, QE attracts a mature …

Enjoyable Caribbean Cruise on BritanniaP&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise, which was our first time on Britannia although we have cruised many times with P&O. We found our balcony cabin (with sofa) comfortable, spacious and with plenty of storage space. The large shower with glass screen was good – although we found the water pressure rather poor. The downside was the very small size of the balcony – very narrow and difficult for 2 peopl…

We had not been on Oceana for 10 years but it was still in good condition. The food was very good and the waiters were excellent. I was dissapointed that the restaurant manager did not come to the tables and ask if everything was to our liking. Our cabin steward was also very good. The entertainment was well below standard. The past two cruises we have been on I thought at last P and O Have uped t…
